(Privately owned by Greg Grosh) The figure behind Steve Jobs is Federico da Montefeltro, Duke of Urbino, a copy of a famous profile by Peiro Della Francesca, a renaissance painter. Montefeltro could only be painted from his left profile because his right was completely disfigured in a jousting match in which he lost his right eye. After that event Montefeltro asked the surgeon to remove the bridge of his nose so he could see his right side using his left eye.  Owned by Greg Grosh.Overlord Understudy 24 X 36 -acrylic on canvas.
